Agent-Directed Grants and Sponsorships

Agents find many meaningful ways to positively engage in the communities where they live and work. To honor this community involvement, Safeco Insurance has dedicated funds to support nonprofit organizations where Safeco agents contribute human and financial resources with grants typically ranging from $1,500 to $10,000.

To maximize the impact of its giving dollars, Safeco Insurance provides agent-directed grants and sponsorships to nonprofit organizations that work within the following focus areas:

Education
Safeco Insurance gives priority to educational programs that encourage disadvantaged youth to excel in grade school, high school and/or secondary education, as well as after-school programs.

Health and Safety
Safeco Insurance favors organizations and causes that are committed to improving the quality of life and safety in our communities; eliminating or controlling hazards in the home and on the highways; and helping people disabled by injury or disease return to productive lives on and off the job.

Civic Engagement
Safeco Insurance also supports arts and cultural programs, community and economic development initiatives, and combined appeals.
